Dispose Of Household Hazardous Waste In Coventry April 10

COVENTRY, RI — Looking to get rid of those old paint cans of fluorescent light bulb tubes? An eco-depot and shredding event is coming to Coventry April 10.

The event will be held in the parking lot of the town hall annex on Flat River Road from 8 a.m. to noon. Full or partially-full cans of latex or oil-based paint, hazardous household items such as motor oil and medical sharps will be accepted. Residents looking to drop off hazardous items are asked to make an appointment in advance online, to reduce wait times day-of.

Shredding services will only be available to Coventry residents, who will be asked to show proof of residency.
