Extreme Heat: Cooling Centers Open In Coventry

Here's where to cool off in Coventry.

COVENTRY, RI — Rhode Island is in the midst of a heat wave, with feel-like temperatures in the triple digits and high humidity. A heat advisory is in place across the state, and an air quality alert was issued for Washington and Newport Counties Monday.

In Coventry, all police and fire stations are cooling centers, and are available off-hours.
