3 Seriously Hurt In Coventry Crash
Three people were seriously injured, one critically, in a head-on crash on Knotty Oak Road.
COVENTRY, RI — Three people were seriously injured in a head-on crash late Wednesday night. The crash happened around 10:40 p.m. in the 300 block of Knotty Oak Road and involved three vehicles, Coventry police said.
The driver of the first vehicle sustained life-threatening injuries. He was rushed to Rhode Island Hospital in critical condition.
The woman who was driving the second vehicle and an underage passenger suffered serious injuries and were taken to Hasbro Children's Hospital. They were expected to survive.

No one in the third vehicle was injured, Coventry police said.
The names of the injured have not been released at this time, and the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
