Some drizzle and fog will persist Thursday, but things will dry out and the temperatures will warm up Saturday.

Rain and fog will continue in Rhode Island Wednesday. At the coast, thick fog is a possibility. Locally the fog may be dense, the National Weather Service said, indicating Narragansett, Newport, Westerly and Block Island will be impacted.
Areas of fog are expected to linger across south coastal Massachusetts and coastal Rhode Island through this afternoon. Fog will be locally dense, with visibility below 1/2 mile at times. Fog may linger through the evening commute.
Motorists should use caution and be prepared for quick changes in visibility. Allow extra time to reach your destination.

Thursday will be foggy and cloudy, with highs in the low 60s. Temperatures will soar to near 70 degrees at the coast and 80 degrees in Woonsocket on Saturday; Sunday will be more seasonable, with highs in the 60s.
