Man Stabbed Outside Coventry Pizza Shop: Police
A fight became physical, police said, sending one man to the hospital with stab and slash wounds.
COVENTRY, RI — One person was stabbed and another injured at a Coventry pizza restaurant over the weekend, police said.
The incident happened Friday night, police said, at the Twisted Pizza on Tiogue Avenue.
According to police, two men were fighting, and the confrontation became physical. One man stabbed the other, who was taken to the hospital with several slash and stab wounds. A second person, a bystander, was also injured while trying to intervene.
