Monday Essentials: No School for Veterans Day, Flu Vaccination Clinic and More
Today is Monday, Nov. 11, 2013 and here are some things to know about the week ahead.

School Committee Meeting: Members of the Coventry School Committee will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the School Administration Offices (1675 Flat River Road). Click here to view this evening's agenda.
School Vaccination Clinic: Members of the Coventry school community including students, faculty, staff, parents and siblings are invited to take advantage of a flu vaccination clinic being held from 4-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13 at Coventry High School (40 Reservoir Rd.). No out of pocket expense. If you have insurance, be sure to bring your card, however no money will be collected. Click here to pre-register and fill out forms ahead of time. Registration may also be done at the clinic.
Artists Reception at NEFA: From 7-9 p.m. this Thursday, New England Farm and Artist (NEFA), located at 1112 Main Street in Coventry will host an Artists Reception to introduce the artists who will be exhibiting from November to January. Featured artists include Beverly Silva, Mixed Media/Oil Painting; Aileen McElroy, Photography; Joanne Ficorilli, Oil Painting; Joan Edge, Oil Painting and Nancy Nielsen, Photography. Toddler Stories and Songs in Greene: The Greene Public Library, located at 179 Hopkins Hollow Road, Greene, will host Toddlers, Tunes & Tales this and each Friday morning from 10-10:30 a.m. The program is intended for children ages 1-3 accompanied by a parent or caregiver and will feature songs, movement and a fun story.
