Obituary: William J. Moran III, 63, Loved NASCAR, Playing Drums

William J. Moran III, 63, of Nicholas Rd., Greene, passed peacefully at home on Friday, April 15, 2016. He was the husband of the late Kathleen A. (McDonald) Moran.

He was a son of the late William J. and Evelyn A. (Handfield) Moran Jr.Bill was a sheet metal mechanic at General Dynamics Electric Boat in Quonset for 36 years, retiring in 2012.

He enjoyed NASCAR, playing the drums and listening to music.

He was the father of William J. Moran IV and his wife Heather of Greene, Kimberly M. Moran of West Warwick and Brian P. Moran of California; grandfather of Jayden J. Moran and Connor J. Moran; brother of Thomas Moran of Scituate and Michael Moran of Cranston.

His Funeral Service will be Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 10 am in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., (Rte.117) Coventry. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich. Visiting hours are Monday 4 - 7 pm.
