COVENTRY, RI — The Coventry Public Library hasn't seen an increase in visitors even though they are an official cooling center for this heatwave Assistant Library Director Jane Schweinsburg told Patch.
With the heat index in Coventry reaching triple digits at 102 degrees, the library wants people to stay safe especially if they don't have air conditioning.
"We welcome anyone who needs to cool down," Schweinsburg said.
