Rhode Island Militia Conducting Public Drills in Coventry
The Kingston Reds will be drilling at the General Nathanael Greene Homestead Sunday afternoon.
COVENTRY, RI — Sounds of revolution — the American Revolution, that is — will be in the air Sunday afternoon when the Rhode Island Militia will be drilling at the General Nathanael Greene Homestead Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. The public is invited to attend and learn more about the Kingston Reds.
Coventry Police is informing local residents that they may hear a small amount of musket firing during the day in association with the drills.
