RHODE ISLAND — The totals are in, confirming that not much snow fell in Rhode Island on Tuesday. While it wasn't measurable, it, combined with sleet and a coating of ice, was enough to make for slippery roads across the state.

Dozens of schools canceled or delayed classes on Tuesday. From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., state police were called to seven crashes on the state's highways, while the Rhode Island Department of Transportation reported numerous vehicle spinouts.
