COVENTRY, RI — National Grid is reporting 22 power outages at 9 p.m. in Providence and in East Providence.
The company is advising people to charge their cell phones, use flashlights (not candles) if the lights go out, and call National Grid at 1-800-465-1212 to report outages and downed wires. As always, people should assume a wire is live and never touch it or drive over it.
