Route 2 Ramp To Be Closed Again For Road Work

WARWICK, RI — The ramp from Route 2 North to Route 117 East will again be closing for overnight drainage work. The Rhode Island Department of Transportation already closed the ramp overnight in early April. The ramp will close to traffic at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8 and could remain closed into Thursday morning if repairs takes longer than expected.

During the closure, drivers will be detoured to Route 113, East Avenue to get to Interstate 95 North. To get to Route 117, drivers will be detoured to I-95 South, then take either Exit 10A or B for Route 117 East or West.

In addition to the ramp closure, the right lane of Route 2 North will be closed at Ginsu Way, and Route 117 East is already detoured from West Warwick because of bridge work.
