COVENTRY, RI — A Coventry organization provided more than 50 turkeys to the town's food bank, thanks to donations from the community. The Torino Social Club is still accepting donations from those interested in making a contribution.

As of Wednesday afternoon, a GoFundMe page set up by the club raised $1,005 of its $700 goal. Donations are still being accepted. On Monday, representatives from the organization dropped off more than 50 turkeys to the Coventry Food Bank, a now-annual tradition started in 2012.

Torino Social Club has been a part of the Coventry community for more than a century, and has a long history of giving back to the town.
