Volunteers Needed To Repaint Coventry Middle School

COVENTRY, RI — Alan Shawn Feinstein Middle School of Coventry needs your help to make the school beautiful before the beginning of the new school year. Volunteers are needed to help provide supplies and paint common areas to keep the school beautiful.

ASFMS Project Beautify will repaint the walls of common areas including bathrooms and cafes, the school said. Because the new school year is fast approaching, project organizers hope to complete the project in less than a week.

Volunteers are needed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. from August 5 to 8. There is no commitment: anyone can come for as much time as they can spare, for any number of days. People are needed to roll paint, paint with or clean brushes, put down plastic sheeting, clean up paint and hand out supplies.

While the project committee has paint and supplies, more would be appreciated, including ladders, rollers, rags, roller poles and/or paint trays.

All are welcome, including students. Volunteers are asked to sign up in advance.
