Warwick Man Arrested Following Drug Raid At Coventry Home: Police
Police found equipment for cooking crack cocaine and more than $58,000 in cash.

COVENTRY, RI — A Warwick man is facing charges after police seized drug paraphernalia and approximately $60,000 in cash from a Coventry house.
As part of an ongoing drug investigation, Coventry police identified Carmelo Figueroa, 39, as a potential drug dealer in Coventry, the department said. Using a search warrant, police searched his vehicle and a house on Blackrock Road in Coventry on May 5, where they found a total of $58,600 in cash and equipment for making crack cocaine.
Figueroa was arrested and arraigned in Kent County District Court on May 11. He was charged with two counts of manufacturing, delivery or possession with intent of a schedule one or two substance. Bail was set at $10,000 personal recognizance.
