
East Providence Youth soccer club, AYSO United, sent two of their coaches to England to attend a coaches education tour of the top soccer academies.
AYSO United director of Coaching, Karl Hanrahan and development coach, Joe Rodrigues spent 6 days at some of the top soccer academies in the world.
The coaches went to Man City, QPR FC, Stoke City FC and Crewe Alexander FC academies to learn about how these top clubs develop players from a young age.

The coaches also spent 3 days at St George’s Park, home of the England football teams, where they took take in a tailored English FA course.
On top of the that, the coaches got to visit Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd football clubs and go to the Community shield cup final at Wembley between Man City and Chelsea.

Director of Coaching, Karl Hanrahan said,” this was an amazing opportunity to go and learn from the best, spending time at the top academies in the world, learning about player development and how these clubs consistently produce top players, this knowledge will be brought back to East Providence for the benefit of our players”.
