City Of East Providence Announces 2021 Summer Camp Registration

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — The City of East Providence Recreation Department will hold a six-week summer day camp for youth ages 6 to 12 from Monday, June 28 to Friday, August 6.

The summer camp will take place at Pierce Field, located at 201 Mercer Street. Daily activities will include sports, arts and crafts, and special events. A free lunch is also provided.

The camp operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and will be cancelled on rainy days. Children must get their own transportation to and from camp.

The cost of the recreation department's summer camp is $450 for the entire six weeks, with a $225 deposit due at registration and the final payment due July 9. Campers must be registered for the entire program in order to maintain stable pods.

COVID-19 guidelines will be in place during camp to ensure the safety of participants and staff.
