City Of East Providence Hiring Summer Program Staff
Hired employees will be responsible for conducting recreation activities for children ages 6-12.
EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — The City of East Providence is currently hiring part-time recreational staff for its 2021 summer programs.
Hired employees will paid $13 per hour and be responsible for conducting recreation activities, including arts and crafts, sports, special events, and day camp, for children ages 6-12.
Applicants must be prompt and reliable, provide safety and order, and maintain discipline at all times. Approximately 30-35 hours per week will be available for each employee from June 24 to August 6. The job hours are Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Those seeking employment must be at least 16 years of age and have some experience in supervising kids. Hired applicants over the age of 18 will be required to obtain a criminal background check inquiry (BCI) with the RI Attorney General’s office.
