City Of East Providence Updating Comprehensive Plan
Residents are asked to fill out a survey to provide feedback and recommendations for the future.
EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — The City of East Providence is updating its Comprehensive Plan for 2020-2040 and is asking residents to fill out a survey to provide feedback on how the town is doing and communicate what they would like to see happen in the future.
The new Comprehensive Plan will include goals for the city's public facilities and services, history and culture, waterfront property and green spaces, housing, and economic development.
The survey is currently open to adult residents here. Paper copies are available by contacting the Department of Planning and Economic Development.

During the Weaver Library Farmer's Market, scheduled for Thursday evenings this summer from 4 to 7 p.m., members of the Planning Department will be available to answer questions about the new plan.
