Dog Lover's Alert: In the Footsteps of Atticus

Atticus was no ordinary dog, as any pet lover in New Hampshire knows. New Hampshire PBS is airing a story about him and his human companion.

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — Atticus, the terrier, climbed a lot of mountains in New Hampshire. The story of how he helped his human Tom Ryan overcome a fear of heights and go on to write a book about adventures in the White Mountains is a Granite State favorite. A special show about Atticus, his dog brother Will, the new dog Sam, and the whole gang premieres tonight on New Hampshire Public Television.

Yes, it's New Hampshire, not Rhode Island.

But even though the show isn't being televised here, New Hampshire Public Television is live-streaming it over Facebook at 7:30 Wednesday night.
