East Providence Farmer's Market Set To Open Today
The weekly Weaver Library Farmers' Market will take place from 4 to 7 p.m.
EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — The Weaver Library Farmers' Market is set to open Thursday, June 24 with the Jesse Liam Trio Band as the first musical act of the season and Jessie Jewels Art as the premier Pop-up Artisan.
The event will take place every Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. and feature rotating vendors, local foods, artisan goods, live entertainment, and a book sale hosted by The Friends of the East Providence Library.
The Weaver Library Farmer's Market accepts SNAP/EBT, WIC Coupons, Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program coupons, and credit or debit cards. With help from a grant from Farm Fresh RI, SNAP customers can double their SNAP. For every dollar spent, they get a free dollar to be spent on fruits and vegetables.
