Here's what you need to know about the Fourth of July fireworks in East Providence.
EAST PROVIDENCE, RI – July is almost here. East Providence will celebrate Independence Day a day early. A free concert and fireworks is set for July 3 at Pierce Stadium, 201 Mercer St. (Rain date is July 5). The gates open at 6 p.m. Kicking Hole & Crushed Velvet perform in concert first, and then it's time for the fireworks. They should start around 9 p.m.
