East Providence To Hold Memorial Day Vehicle Parade
East Providence will conduct a vehicle-only salute beginning at the Crescent Park Carousel at 10 a.m.

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — East Providence is moving forward with its Memorial Day parade on Monday with a vehicle parade that is planned to have stops at the city's war memorials.
The city said that the parade will consist of veterans, active military, city officials, police and fire personnel. It will include a gun salute at each war memorial throughout the city.
"This will not be a traditional parade," the Office of the Mayor posted on social media. "We will practice social distancing with a motorcade that we will try to map out a route to stop at all war memorials."
