East Providence Intersection Work To Begin Wednesday
Lane closures and noise impact are expected during the daytime work at Pawtucket Avenue and Pleasant Street.
EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — Road crews will be out in East Providence on Wednesday as the Rhode Island Department of Transportation begins intersection work at Pawtucket Avenue and Pleasant Street. Lane closures and noise disturbances are likely during the daytime work set to take place daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Construction crews will be in the roadway removing traffic islands and patching the pavement as part of the improvement in the intersection. Lane shifts and lane closures are expected. The RI DOT also said there will be local impact from construction noise.
