On October 19, 2019 at the URI Ryan's Center the East Providence Junior Townie
competitive Cheer Squads in Division 10, Division 12 and Division 14
all placed first (State Champions) in their divisions for the Blackstone Valley Youth Football and Cheerleading Cheer Competition. In addition, the non-competitive Cheer Squads Flag and Division 8 both did extremely well during their routines.

The East Providence Junior Townies Cheer Squads in Division 10, Division 12 and Division 14 will be competing at the 2019 New England Regional Cheer Championships for American Youth Cheer "The Spirit behind American Youth Football" being held at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, MA on Saturday November 23, 2019.
