East Providence Library Launches Book Page Flowers Art Project
The project is part of Weaver Library's spring art installation.
EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — East Providence Public Library is launching a community art project that invites residents to make flowers out of recycled book pages.
The project will be incorporated into a spring art installation at Weaver Library, at which the flowers will be on display for public viewing.
Those who wish to participate can pick up kits at Weaver Library, Riverside Library, and Fuller Creative Learning Center. Each kit contains the materials to make many flowers of different sizes.

Service hours are being offered for teens who join the project, with one service hour awarded for every 6 approved flower submissions.
