East Providence Native Jennifer Lee To Lead Disney Animation

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI—Jennifer Lee has been named the new head of Disney Animation. Lee, best known for 'Frozen,' grew up in East Providence. Her dad is Jamestowner Sav Rebecchi. She went to college at the University of New Hampshire, and then went on to graduate studies at New York University. Her dad posted the news on Facebook this morning: "It's not often when your daughter gets a promotion it's all over the news," he wrote.
