East Providence Police Arrest Suspect In Armed Robbery
Police say the man robbed a woman at gunpoint on Central Avenue Friday.
EAST PROVIDENCE, RI—A man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery that took place near Central Avenue on Friday, Dec. 11, according to East Providence police.
Caesar Mixon, 18, of Pawtucket, has been charged with first degree robbery, conspiracy, and using a firearm when committing a crime of violence, said investigators.
In a Facebook post on Wednesday, East Providence police said the second suspect in the case, a juvenile, has been identified but not yet arrested.

The robbery took place at approximately 3 p.m. on Friday in the 100 block of Central Avenue when the two men robbed a woman at gunpoint, said police.
"A female was lured into the area under the guise of selling an item advertised online," said East Providence police in a Facebook post on Monday.
