East Providence Public Libraries To Reopen On Feb. 17
All branches of the library have been closed to the public since Nov. 30.
EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — East Providence Public Libraries are set to reopen to the public for the first time in nearly three months on Wednesday, Feb 17.
The library system announced Sunday that it will be going through with the scheduled reopening after postponing their reopening date three times since Nov. 30 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Starting Wednesday morning, Weaver Library will be open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Riverside Branch Library will be open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Fuller Creative Learning Center will be open Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Computer sessions will remain by-appointment only and 30-minute sessions can be scheduled at 10 a.m., 12 p.m., or 3 p.m. The library asks that people limit their computer sessions to twice a week.
Although the libraries are resuming normal operations, contactless pickup will remain available by request.
