East Providence School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

The first day of school in East Providence is August 30. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The East Providence School Department has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 11/22 - 11/24: No School (Thanksgiving Recess)

• 12/22 - 1/1: No School (Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1: No School (Holiday Recess)
• 1/2: School Reopens
• 1/15: No School (M. L. King, Jr. Day)

February

• 2/19 - 2/23: No School (Winter Recess)

March

• 3/30: No School (Good Friday)

April

• 4/16 - 4/20: No School (Spring Recess)

May

• 5/28: No School (Memorial Day)

June

• 6/8: Senior Class Graduation
• 6/13: Last Day for all Students
• 6/14 - 6/18: Make-Up Days
