East Providence Vaccination Pod Moves To Former Shaw's Market
The regional vaccination pod opened April 7 at the East Providence Senior Center.

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — The City of East Providence has announced that its regional COVID-19 vaccination pod (point of distribution) has moved from the East Providence Senior Center to the former site of a Shaw's market at 585 Taunton Avenue.
The vaccination pod opened at the senior center on Wednesday, April 7 and is moving to allow for more capacity as the number of people eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine in Rhode Island continues to increase.
Those eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine currently include those age 16 and older who live, work, or go to school in Rhode Island.
