EP Tuesday Activities Canceled, Parking Ban Announced as Snow Begins

Some activities and programs have been canceled as an anticipated snowstorm moves into the area. 

First, the DPW has issued a parking ban to start at 6 p.m. this evening. The ban will remain in effect until further notice. Any cars parked on the street after that time, given a reasonable grace period, will be ticketed and towed to make way for plows.

  • East Providence Public Schools: After School activities canceled.
  • RI Phil Music School: CLOSED All day & evening activities; All Locations
  • MTTI: No PM Classes
  • Local 37 Ironworkers: No classes Dec. 17 
    Forecasters predict the storm will bring 2 to 4 inches of snow, with the bulk of it falling during the afternoon commute.
