A Little Snow Mixed With Sleet & Rain For East Providence

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — Light snow was falling Christmas Eve. But the forecast calls for the snow to turn to a mix on Christmas, according to the National Weather Service. Parts of Rhode Island will see a white Christmas, but the snow is not in the Christmas Day forecast for East Providence.

Rain, snow, and sleet after 1am, becoming all rain after 5am. Low around 32. East wind 7 to 9 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total nighttime snow and sleet accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Yet, the gloomy weather won't last all day. By afternoon, the sun could be shining.
