Obituary: Joyce (Fullerton) Rafuse, 60, Loved Reading and Cooking

Joyce M. (Fullerton) Rafuse, of Diana Dr., Rumford, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2016, at the Memorial Hospital of RI. She was the wife of John F. Rafuse.

Born May 31, 1955, in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Lucy (Hanna) Fullerton. Joyce was an avid reader and loved cooking and one day get-away dates with her husband. She was working as a purchasing manager at Tanya Creations of Pawtucket and prior worked 30 years in the advertising and graphic arts industry.

In addition to her husband, she leaves her step-daughter, Stephanie F. Rafuse of Randolph, MA; her sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Clifton Tidd of Providence; her sister-in-law Marina Fullerton of Ft. Myers, FL; and her niece and nephews, Mark, Jennifer, and Kevin; and her great nieces and nephews, Matthew, Christopher, Lucy, Morgan, Emily, Isabella, Sean, Hunter, and Zachary.

She was the sister of the late Stephen Fullerton.

Her funeral will begin Wednesday, April 20, at 8:45am from the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Margaret's Church, 1098 Pawtucket Ave., Rumford. Burial will follow at the Mt. St. Mary Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday, 5pm until 8pm.
