Obituary: Leo R. Jodoin, 67
Leo R. Jodoin, of Ide Ave., East Providence, passed away peacefully at home in the arms of his wife on his 67th birthday.

Leo R. Jodoin, of Ide Ave., East Providence, passed away peacefully at home in the arms of his wife on his 67th birthday, Friday afternoon, March 4, 2016.
Born March 4, 1949, in Providence, he was a son of Emma Teresa (Benoit) Jodoin and of the late Joseph A. L. Jodoin.
Leo was a Navy veteran serving during the Vietnam War aboard the USS Simon Lake and later the USS Independence. He worked as a union truck driver for more than 25 years with the Teamsters Local #251 and was a member of the East Warren Rod and Gun Club.
In addition to his mother, he leaves his wife, Margaret (McAllister) Jodoin; his son, Scott Jodoin; his granddaughter, Meagen Jodoin; his great grandchildren, Darren and Madison; his daughter-in-law, Donna Jodoin; his brothers, Richard, Lawrence, Robert, and Jean Jodoin; his sister, Anne-Marie Gonsalves; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service Wednesday, March 9, at 11am in the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence. Military honors will follow. Visitation will be held Wednesday morning from 10am until 11am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to help homeless and at-risk veterans secure stable housing as well as other assistance may be made to Operation Stand Down RI, 1010 Hartford Ave. #1, Johnston, RI 02919.
