Obituary: Mary M. Ramos, 101

Mary (Miranda) Ramos, 101, of East Providence, died peacefully surrounded by her family Thursday, April 14, 2016 at the Orchard View Manor.

Born July 17, 1914, in New Bedford, MA, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Matilda (Gonsalves) Miranda.

Mary leaves one surviving brother, Oliver Miranda of Providence, and also was the sister of the late Rose Pina, Antonia Ramos, Telvina Monteiro, Louis Miranda and John Miranda. She also leaves many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service Tuesday, April 19, at 10am in the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence. Burial will follow at St. Patricks Cemetery, Wareham, MA. Visitation will be held Tuesday morning, 9am until 10am.
