Obituary: ​Paul F. Chace, 76, WWII Veteran

Paul F. Chace, 76, of Sarasota, FL and formerly of East Providence, died at home, June 24, 2016.

He was the husband of Elizabeth "Betsy" (Emerson) Chace.

Born Nov. 26, 1939 in Somerset, MA, he was a son of the late Arnold E. and Mary (Lawrence) Chace.

Paul was a veteran of the US Army.

In addition to his wife of 39 years, he leaves a son Geoffrey Chace of Cranston; a brother Russell Chace and sister Mary Parent of Somerset, MA; a sister-in-law Gail Landry and husband George of Riverside; a loving nephew Arnie Chace, III and his wife Karen of Seekonk, MA; his stepdaughters, Diane Auclair-Garcia of Somerset, MA and Louise Przytes of Little Compton; and numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was the father of the late Paul F. Chace Jr and the brother of the late Arnold Chace Jr.A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 20, at 10:30am in the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence. Military honors and burial will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 9am until the time of service at 10:30am.
