Obituary: Paul A. Rodrigues, 62

Paul A. Rodrigues, 62, of Puritan Ave., died December 28, 2015 at Home and Hospice Care of RI with his loving family by his side. He was the husband of Kathleen M. (Gardiner) Rodrigues. Born in Providence, he was a son of Mary (Motta) Rodrigues and the late John A. Rodrigues.

He worked as a sales manager for CMI and previously for Martins Maintenance. Paul was an avid Giants fan, enjoyed playing the guitar and tennis. He loved the beach and his cats Tough Guy and Mits Mits.

In addition to his wife of 34 years, he is survived by his daughters; Jennifer L. Rodrigues and Mary Beth Rodrigues both of East Providence and his granddaughter Sarah Mackey. He was the brother of Daniel Rodrigues of N. Attleboro, and Mary Ann Iannuccillo of Smithfield. He leaves several nieces and nephews. He is survived by his aunt Maria E. Rodrigues of East Providence.

His funeral will begin on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 9am from the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence, RI. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10am in St. Francis Xavier Church, N. Carpenter St., East Providence. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours will be on Friday, January 1, 2016 from 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to St. Francis Xavier Church or Home and Hospice Care of RI.
