EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — PACE-RI is moving its offices to East Providence.

The non-profit health plan for medically complex seniors announced it has purchased property at 10 Tripp Lane for its new center of operations and clinical hub. The property is about twice the size of its current space in Providence.

The company said it plans to open in June 2021 with an adult day center, state-of-the-art clinical facilities, expanded rehabilitation services and amenities for participants and staff. The additional space will be used for art, music and special programming.

The building will also have a commercial kitchen for PACE to provide meals tailored to its diverse participant population.

"PACE's participant census has grown by 22 percent over the past two years and demand for our services keeps increasing," said Joan Kwiatkowski, CEO. "This new building represents our organization's commitment to meeting that demand, providing alternatives to a nursing home, and to changing what successful aging looks like."
