Pet of the Week: Sophie Seeks Permanent Home

Sophie,  a "sweet and social 10-year-old Beagle" who's spent the last three months at the Rhode Island Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. (RISPCA) shelter, needs a home.

She's been at the shelter at 186 Amaral St., Riverside since the beginning of August, according to the RISPCA. "She is very friendly and playful. She also loves riding in the car and playing with tennis balls," the organization wrote on its Facebook page.
