Maureen Carroll and Ellen Frazier were busily making the rounds at the East Providence Senior Center this week during lunch selling tickets to the Center's raffle.
Tickets, which can be purchased at the Senior Center's administration office at 610 Waterman Ave., are $10, and there are two $25 winners each week. The grand prizes, for $100, $250 and $500, are drawn Nov. 19, Nov. 26, Dec. 3, Dec. 10 and Dec. 17.
The raffle pays for itself, said Frazier, and it's a fun thing for people at the Center to look forward to.
