Rhode Island Grandfather Packs Truck with Snow, Drives to Maryland to Build Snowman with Granddaughter
Providence resident Allen Queen gave his 4-year-old granddaughter a gift she won't soon forget.
A local grandfather last week gave his granddaughter an incredible gift she won’t soon forget.
After the Blizzard of 2015 hit last week, Providence resident Allen Queen loaded his truck with snow and drove 375 miles south to his granddaughter’s home in Glen Burnie, Maryland, the Capital Gazette reported.
His granddaughter, 4-year-old Sophie, was elated. Queen told the girl that Elsa—from the hit movie “Frozen”—helped deliver the snow, according to the Capital Gazette. The pair then built a snowman in the front yard.
