Second 'Winter Storm Stella' Update: RI State Police Report Minor Accidents & No Injuries
The state police have responded to four accidents. Connecticut has issued a travel ban.

SCITUATE, RI—State police are reporting four minor accidents and no injuries on the Rhode Island roads this morning.
"Four minor accidents have been reported across the state as the storm continues to intensify, but no injuries and no major incidents have been reported as of 11 a.m. Troopers ( in the Wickford, Hope Valley and Lincoln barracks have responded.) In one case, state police ahad to assist a motorist whose car was off the road.
"Several inches of snow have been reported across much of the state, and snowfall and wind speeds have steadily increased. Slippery roads are creating dangerous driving conditions throughout the region.

Col. Ann Assumpico, Superintendent of State Police and Director of Public Safety, continues to urge motorists to stay off the roads.
Per Twitter, one accident in East Providence involved a car into a tree, but no one was injured.
