Video: Lincoln Police Seek Man Who Tried To Break Into Town Hall

A suspect tried to break in overnight on May 7 or 8. Police are looking for a man in his 50s or 60s with short grey hair.

LINCOLN, RI — The Lincoln Police Department is seeking the public's help as they try to identify a man who is suspected of trying to break into Lincoln Town Hall.

The department released surveillance video and a still photograph and say an alleged breaking and entering attempt happened sometime overnight on May 7th or May 8th.

Police say they believe the suspect is a man in his late 50s to mid-60s with short gray hair and a gray mustache with gray stubble on his face. He is described as being around 5-foot-7 with a slender build. At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, a blue baseball cap, dark colored pants, and work boots.
