2 Killed In Pair Of South Kingstown Crashes
Two people died in a pair of unrelated, single-vehicle crashes in South Kingstown, police said
SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI — Two people died in a pair of unrelated crashes in South Kingstown on Monday, police said. Both were single-vehicle crashes that claimed the lives of the drivers.
The first crash happened just after 12:30 p.m. near Usquepaugh Road and Laurel Lane. The car was on fire and surrounded by downed power lines when emergency crews arrived. The driver was the only person in the vehicle, police said.
Police did not say when the second crash happened, only that it was in the 900 block of Middlebridge Road. The driver was flown by helicopter to Rhode Island Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police did not release the identity of either victim.
