33 New Public Parking Spots Available In Downtown Narragansett

33 parking spots are now available to the public in the Pier Village plaza.

NARRAGANSETT, RI — If you're headed to Narragansett this summer, parking might be a little easier than expected. Thanks to an agreement with local businesses, there are now 33 new public parking spots in the Pier Village Plaza.

While 33 spots may not sound like very many, anyone who has tried to go to the beach or a local restaurant or businesses during the busy summer months knows that parking spots can be nearly impossible to find.

Narragansett Police Chief and Acting Town Manager Sean Corrigan said the spots are clearly marked with signs to show which are public and which are reserved for businesses in the plaza. A highlighted photo shows the location of the spots in the middle of the lot.
