According to police, there were about 400 to 450 people at the property, along with 100 to 150 cars parked in the yard and surrounding area. Police said a DJ was playing music, causing an overwhelming amount of noise, and several people were ignoring a port-a-john on the property and instead urinating along the tree line.
Police said the entire property was littered with beer cans, bottles, red Solo cups and cardboard beer cases. Police said it took about 90 minutes to clear the home, along with two additional officers from South Kingstown, since the tenants did not have control of the party and guests ignored the tenants and police commands to leave.

The tenants were identified as 21-year-olds Luca A. Rietti, Patrick J. Brown and Joshua F. Steinkamp. Police said all three were cited, and noted that the property had previously been issued a sticker for a party in November 2012.
One Woman Passed Out, One Hit With Bottle at Riot Situation on Greene Lane
At about 4:43 p.m. on May 4, police received a report of a potential street riot on Greene Lane.
According to police, initial officers arriving on the scene saw about 300 to 400 people gathered in the street, with another 100 people at properties between 15 Greene Lane and 19 Greene Lane.
Police said that because of all the people in the street, vehicles were completely unable to move. Police said that verbal commands from four officers produced no reaction in the crowd, so additional officers from South Kingstown and the Rhode Island State Police were called to disperse the crowd.
According to police, a tenant at 15 Greene Lane told them that she did not want anyone on her property, and had not invited the crowd. Police said a woman who had passed out from what was believed to be alcohol poisoning was transported from the home.
Police said that as a rescue was leaving with the woman, a beer bottle was thrown at a Narragansett Fire Department truck at the scene. Police said another bottle that was thrown struck a woman in the head, and she was treated at the scene for injuries.
According to police, a lieutenant saw Nico A. Recine, 20, of 3 Gardenia Lane, throwing a third bottle. This bottle did not strike anyone, but Recine was cited for throwing objects or missiles, a Municipal Court citation. Police said Recine is a student at the University of Rhode Island.
Police said the street was finally cleared when four state police troopers and four officers from South Kingstown arrived to assist. The scene took more than an hour to stabilize, police said.
According to police, tenants at the Greene Lane homes were not believable to be responsible for the various crowds in the street. As a result, they were not cited. The gathering remains under investigation. It is unknown if guests from a party on Knowlesway that was broken up in the same time frame were involved.
