Story time! There are stories for kids from ages 3 to 5 at 10:30 a.m. at Peace Dale Library.

"Acting is the most minor of gifts and not a very high-class way to earn a living. After all, Shirley Temple could do it at the age of four." – Katherine Hepburn. The Contemporary Theater Company hosts acting lessons at 5 p.m. The cost is $10, and they do take place every Wednesday, in case you can’t make this one session.

Oh no! Maybe there seriously aren’t that many events today, given that it’s Discovery Day in Haiti and the Dominican Republic. As a result, our events calendar for today is a bit barren.
