Air Quality Alert For Second Day In A Row: Rhode Island Health

Ozone levels are unhealthy, especially for sensitive groups, including children, the elderly and people suffering from asthma.

NARRAGANSETT, RI—The state health department is issuing another air quality alert for Sunday for all of Rhode Island. The ozone levels are going to reach unhealthy levels, the state said. The conditions are expected to continue through July 4.

"A hot and stagnant dome of high pressure will remain the dominant weather feature with light winds, temperatures well into the 90s and UNHEALTHY air quality," the health department said.
