Best Places To Live In RI: Niche.Com's 2018 List
Five neighborhoods on Providence's East Side made the top 10, but Barrington and Kingston are considered the best places to live in RI.
KINGSTON, RI—Niche.com has published its 2018 list of Best Places to Live. The Rhode Island list is topped by three small towns, Barrington, Kingston, and East Greenwich. But Providence's East Side grabbed five of the top 10 spots for the neighborhoods, such as Blackstone Boulevard and Wayland Square.
Here are the top 10.
1. Barrington — A+ overall; A+ Public schools.

2. Kingston — A+ overall; A- Public schools.
3. East Greenwich — A+ overall; A+ Public schools.

5. Jamestown — A+ overall; A Public schools.

8. East Side Providence (Fox Point) — A overall; C- Public schools.
9. East Side Providence (Hope Street area) — A overall; C- Public schools.
